Therapy Intensives
What to ExpectIf you have already been in therapy, you might know the feeling of having a breakthrough moment but finding out time is up and “we will continue this conversation next session.” Intensives take that time constraint away. Intensives also act to not add to your already busy schedule as you only schedule once and are done.
❋ Longer time to processI am offering 1 or 2 day intensives. Each day would be 6 hours with a break in-between
❋ No disruptionsAs normal therapy is limited to an hour, you are able to really dive deep into your concerns and address the concerns, leaving with a sense of direction
❋ Expert FacilitationI started out as a family-based therapist, worked as an addictions therapist for groups, school-based therapy, and have a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
❋ A Supportive SpaceIntensives offer the space to unpack traumas and process them without the disruption of returning to the work day. The space and time is used to fully heal.
Types of Intensives
Burnout Intensive:
Perfectionism is a trauma response and can lead to burnout in the work environment. I received my PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology because our work can dictate our mental health. I know first hand how a toxic work environment can affect your mental health.
Family Intensives:
As a former family-based therapist, I see the benefits of family therapy but also the difficulties with time constraints. Family therapy can be helpful when managing addictions, mental health, and/or just navigating busy schedules.
