As an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist, I am transferring my clinical mental health skills from the individual to the organizational level. A goal as an I/O psychologist is to help organizations and leadership in areas of employee retention, workplace productivity, and burnout. One trend I am noticing through my work as a Disruptive Event Response Consultant is that organizations do not know how to react after an incident to assist their employees beyond EAP services. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and have worked with multiple organizations in the aftermath of a disruptive event.
